Stonehouse Protect LLC wants this website to work for everyone, including people using screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or reduced-motion settings.
What we’ve done
We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Specifically, on every page:
- Text contrast is measured, not estimated. Body text and interface labels meet or exceed 4.5:1; large text meets 3:1. Where a brand colour was too light to carry text, we darkened it rather than use it anyway.
- Everything works by keyboard, with a visible focus ring at every step and a skip-to-content link.
- Every image has alternative text, or is marked decorative so screen readers pass over it.
- Headings run in order and each page has exactly one main heading.
- Tap targets are at least 44×44 pixels.
- Body text is never smaller than 16 pixels and the page can be zoomed.
- The layout works from 360 pixels upward with no sideways scrolling.
- The background video has a visible pause control, never plays with sound, and does not load at all if your device requests reduced motion.
- Nothing relies on colour alone to make sense.
- There are no pop-ups, no auto-playing audio, and no time limits.
Where we fall short
We test with automated tools and manual keyboard checks. We have not yet had a full audit by an accessibility specialist or by people using assistive technology day to day. If something on this site doesn’t work for you, that is a fault we want to know about.
Tell us
